Barbara Mann Steinwedell Endowed Scholarship

The Barbara Mann Steinwedell Endowed Scholarship was established in 1999 to provide support to entering ArtCenter undergraduate students in any major who demonstrate both financial need and merit.

Barbara Mann Steinwedell is a founding member and stalwart supporter of ArtCenter100 and has dedicated her life to community service. In addition to supporting students through the Barbara Mann Steinwedell Endowed Scholarship, Mrs. Steinwedell has been instrumental in helping ArtCenter100 raise in excess of $1.5 million in scholarship support for ArtCenter students over the last 35 years.

Having a great passion for music in addition to art and design, Barbara Steinwedell joined the Pasadena Symphony Board of Directors in the mid-1990s leading the organization through a period of great growth as its Board President. The Pasadena Symphony Association presented her with its Philanthropist Luminary Award in 2018. She has also served on the Board of the Pasadena Senior Center and Planned Parenthood. As CEO of the Mann Family Foundation West, Inc., Barbara Steinwedell has overseen the distribution of numerous important grants for health, social & human services, and arts & culture in California.
