Bradford Hall Endowed Scholarship
The Bradford Hall Endowed Scholarship was established in 1998 by Bradford Hall to support students in any major at ArtCenter who demonstrate financial need and creative merit.
Bradford Hall served as an ArtCenter Trustee from 1987 to 1999. He earned a BA in economics from Wichita University, after which he enlisted in the Air Force and served as a pilot. Hall went on to begin a career in commercial banking, quickly rising through the ranks of several prominent banks. In 1977, Hall joined Wentworth, Hauser and Violich where served as the firm’s compliance officer. In 1998, Hall established the Bradford Hall Endowed Scholarship in Memory of Dr. William M. Jardine, the sixth president of Wichita University. Hall credits his business success to Jardine, who was a former cabinet member in the administration of Calvin Coolidge. His presidency at Wichita University lasted from 1934 to 1949, and encompassed the Great Depression, World War II and the post-war years.
