Brian Hathaway Memorial Endowed Scholarship

The Brian Hathaway Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 1991 in loving memory of Brian Lee Hathaway, a 1990 graduate of the Advertising program. This scholarship supports students in the Creative Direction program (formerly Advertising), who demonstrate talent and financial need, with a preference for those with previous degrees or substantial prior education.

Brian Hathaway passed away in a tragic snowmobile accident in Aspen, Colorado; he had been working as an Art Director in San Francisco. He graduated from San Marino High School and went to Trinity University in Texas as well as ArtCenter. The family hopes that recipients of this scholarship might also embrace the world through travel and have a spirited love of life.
